SHORT DESCRIPTION

  • ACRONYM: SEPSIS-IA.
  • TITLE: Sistema para la detección temprana de la SEPSIS con técnicas de Inteligencia Artificial.
  • SUMMARY: The main objective of the project is to analyze Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to develop an early warning system capable of predicting the occurrence of episodes of sepsis and septic shock with the minimum number of variables.

ABSTRACT

The SEPSIS-IA research addresses the following key aspects:

1. Thoroughly studying the current action protocols (SEPSIS Code) and processes for identifying and prioritizing patients with sepsis, as well as identifying potential applications of Artificial Intelligence for their implementation to optimize protocols and action processes.

2. Identifying the minimum number of variables and constructing datasets for the early and effective detection of septic patients in all areas of healthcare.

3. Developing and experimenting with predictive models based on Artificial Intelligence techniques for early detection and improved diagnosis in patients with sepsis.
